Liverpool have put bitter club rivalries to one side to pay a touching tribute to Man Utd forward Marcus Rashford following his successful campaign for free school meals.
There is no love lost between the two clubs, and not so long ago Rashford even grabbed a brace at Old Trafford to earn all three points for United against their old foes.
But what the 22-year-old has achieved in the past week has transcended football, by ensuring over a million children will not go hungry throughout the summer holidays.
His campaign urged the Government to reverse their original decision to stop providing meals at the end of term. Now Liverpool have praised the forward for his remarkable efforts in bringing positive change to their own community.
