Steve Cotterill spent the weekend in intensive care with COVID after Shrewsbury's boss was left “struggling to speak”. Cotterill, 56, will watch League One Town on TV tonight at Southampton in the FA Cup from his hospital bed in Bristol.
The ex-Cheltenham, Burnley and Birmingham manager was hospitalised last week after his condition deteriorated. But Shrewsbury assistant Aaron Wilbraham has been in regular contact and reckons Cotterill is now improving.
