PHILADELPHIA - The woman accused of killing two Pennsylvania State Troopers and a third man in a crash on I-95 Monday morning was pulled over for speeding minutes before the crash, sources say.Those sources tell FOX 29 she was stopped by the same troopers she is accused of fatally striking minutes later. Troopers Martin F. Mack and Branden Sisca pulled over Webb’s 2014 Chevrolet Captiva on I-95 after midnight, but sources say the stop lasted for less than a minute.During the stop, the troopers received a ‘priority call’ for a man walking on the southbound lanes of the highway near the Broad Street exit.After getting Webb’s driver’s license, registration, and insurance, Mack and Sisca were called away and left her with a warning to slow down.

RADNOR TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Police across the country are warning parents about the dangers of the Orbeez Challenge as they see a rise in incidents involving the gel pellets and toy guns. In Pennsylvania, four teenagers are in trouble after firing a gel pellet gun at a group of students outside of a middle school. RELATED: Police warn some social media 'challenges' can lead to hackers gaining personal informationLaw Enforcement in Florida is also warning residents about the challenge after a Volusia County woman was struck in the arm walking with her child and three people were hit by pellets in Deltona. Police are warning parents and schools about the dangers of the Orbeez Challenge.  According to police, the Orbeez Challenge is a viral social media trend that encourages people to shoot Orbeez water beads and gel pellets from air guns. Packs of the popular children's toy can come with up to 500 Orbeez and 1500 Orbeez seeds, according to the manufacturer. The gel beads are typically created with water, but many conducting the challenge have begun freezing the beads to intensify their effects. Chris Flanagan, the Superintendent of Police in Radnor Township, Pennsylvania, said the challenge is concerning because the toy guns being used are often altered to look like real weapons. When the challenge was done outside of Radnor Middle School, students and staff began running and the school restricted activity in the area, according to Flanagan. "These challenges seem like they are funny," he says.

RADNOR, Pa. - Authorities in Pennsylvania say a new social media challenge that involves a gel pellet gun lead to a police response at a school and resulted in four teens being arrested. In a letter to families, the Radnor Township School District said 25 students were working outside Radnor Middle School last week when a car pulled up and fired a gel pellets towards the school. Three students and a faculty member were hit, but did not require medical treatment. Officers from the Radnor Township Police Department later arrested four teens who they say were in a car capture on surveillance video that fired the gel gun. Authorities are warning of the dangers of the Orbeez Challenge that involves shooting a gel pellet gun at unsuspecting people. Police say the attack was part of the "Orbeez Challenge," a new TikTok challenge that encourages users to sneak attack unsuspecting people with a gel pellet gun. "And that they have seen this on a TikTok type of source where it was a challenge and others go video yourself doing that or have some fun with that very unfortunately that was a very bad decision," Radnor Police Superintendent Christopher Flanagan said. According to officials, the teens arrested in the attack have been charged with possessing instruments of a crime, disorderly conduct, harassment and recklessly endangerment.Police in cities throughout the U.S.

HARRISBURG - A former Pennsylvania attorney general who served eight months in jail for leaking grand jury material and lying about it was charged Thursday with drunken driving after a weekend crash in Scranton.Police said Kathleen Kane, 55, told officers she was a designated driver, but surveillance video showed Kane herself had been drinking alcohol at a Scranton restaurant shortly before the crash, according to an affidavit.Kane had watery, bloodshot eyes and slurred her words — police said she had trouble saying the word "designated" — and failed a field sobriety test, the documents said.Kane, who was also charged with careless driving, was issued a summons and is due in court April 21. She did not respond to a message seeking comment.

HARRISBURG - Pennsylvania's former top state prosecutor was arrested over the weekend and is expected to be formally charged with driving under the influence, Scranton police said Monday.Kathleen Kane, a Democrat who resigned as attorney general after being convicted of perjury in 2016, was involved in a two-vehicle crash in the city at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Scranton Police Chief Thomas Carroll said.Police did not release details about the crash, and until charges are filed there is no paperwork with information about the investigation.Spotlight PA reported that Carroll declined to say if Kane's blood was tested for alcohol level or why she was suspected of having been drinking.Kane's cellphone would not accept messages Monday and she did not respond to a text message seeking comment.Kane, 55, was the first Democrat and remains the only woman to have been elected as the state's attorney general.While in office, she leaked grand jury documents about a civil rights leader who had been investigated to embarrass the rival prosecutor who ran the probe and declined to bring charges.

SCRANTON, Pa. - Federal authorities have announced the arrest of a New Jersey man in the cold-case slaying of a teenager whose body was found in central Pennsylvania more than two decades ago.Columbia County authorities said hunters found the frozen, shoeless body of 17-year-old Shamar Washington of Williamsport down an embankment in Hemlock Township in January 2001. He had been reported missing from Williamsport six days earlier.

JENKINTOWN, Pa. - Thousands showed their support for Ukraine on Saturday at the Ukrainian Food Festival in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania. The event was held at the St. Michael the Archangel Ukrainian Catholic Church. According to organizers, more than 2,000 people stood in long lines in the snow and wind to show their support. "It's a challenge because every person that is in my congregation, they are living the events happening in Ukraine differently," said Pastor Andriy Rabiy.

BUCKS COUNTY, Pa - Girls wrestling is one of the fastest-growing sports in Pennsylvania and a Bucks County high school is finishing its first season competing. Kristin Swartley and Jamie Harner are volunteer wrestling coaches for the girls wrestling team at Exeter Township High School. "Did you ever see yourself being a wrestling coach?" FOX 29 photojournalist Bill Roher asked the coaches. "No, never," Swartley said. "I am a wrestling mom and now I'm a wrestling coach." Last August, Exeter became the 14th school in Pennsylvania to begin a girls' wrestling team and Swartley and Harner are the first coaches. "I think in the beginning, Jamie and I were like ‘It’s going to be just us'" Swartley said. The coaches posted messages on Facebook asking athletes from other sports to join.
