Loose Women fans raging as 'non-essential' show returns amid coronavirus pandemic

After several weeks off-air, Loose Women's live shows returned with a bang this afternoon. Reducing the panel from four to three, and ensuring the panellists corresponded with social distancing measures, the Loose Women ladies were chuffed to make their comeback.

However, certain viewers complained that the return of the series was unwarranted, branding it as "non-essential" viewing. Back in March, Loose Women axed their live shows, filling the daytime slot with repeats of archival episodes of the panel show.

Meanwhile, Good Morning Britain and This Morning remained on the air, as the government considered both shows as "essential" for the communication of news and updates.
