Love Island fans recently had their dreams of a summer 2020 return squashed, as ITV confirmed the reality dating show would not go ahead this year, amid the coronavirus pandemic.
However, talks of a revival are now circling with plans afoot to bring the show back before the end of the year, according to reports. The show, which is normally filmed in Majorca, could be set in a different location in order to go ahead at some point, with a source telling The Sun: “The location is up in the air, as Majorca would maybe be a bit chilly by September/October, but the Canary Islands could be possible.” It seems as opposed to a summer edition, an autumn edition of the fan-favourite show could be on the cards instead, with a new island as the setting.
