ITV could be filming Love Island in the UK and delaying it until August, according to insiders. The potential changes to this year's series come as the UK continues to face lockdown for a further three weeks amid the coronavirus pandemic, which has claimed the lives of more 15,000 people in the UK alone.

The global pandemic has seen TV productions cancel filming for the mean time, as many soaps only airing twice a week in a bid to keep it going until the end.

But for some shows, such as ITV's popular reality TV dating show Love Island, major changes could be made to production. According to a source, they told Variety that the series, usually shot in Majorca in early summer, may be filmed in the UK in August.
