But the former Love Island star has bad news for people who have met new lovers during the self-isolation period, as he claims it is too risky to have sex with a new partner.
Giving an interview on BBC's Newsbeat, Alex has now opened up on how peoples' sex lives are affecting the rise of the deadly bug.
He said: "If you're in a relationship… living with that person, and sharing the same environment, it shouldn't change your situation.
