Dr Alex George has revealed he received life-saving treatment at the hospital where Prime Minister Boris Johnson is currently in intensive care battling coronavirus.

The former Love Island star, 30, is currently working on the NHS frontline and has sent his well wishes to the PM as he is helped by medics at London's St Thomas' Hospital.

Dr Alex has now revealed the Conservative leader is in the best possible hands, as he received life-saving treatment at the hospital himself.

In a post on Twitter, the doctor-turned-reality TV star explained he was struck down with sepsis, a potentially-fatal blood infection, and was nursed back to the health by the staff at St Thomas.
