Love Island's Dr Alex George has shared an inspiring picture from the NHS frontline as he works to fight coronavirus. He has returned to working as a doctor full time during the pandemic, and he is refusing to be fazed by the terrifying situation.

Clad is his protective gear including a visor and face mask, Alex held up his fist as a symbol of strength, in a photo posted on Instagram.

He vowed: "No matter how many times this virus beats us down, we will stand up and we will fight back". "YES WE WILL," agreed his girlfriend, Amelia Bath.

His Love Island co star Charlie Brake simply responded "hero", while Eyal Booker added: "True hero. "We’re all praying for you and everyone else on the front line".
