Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has set his players the challenge of emulating the opening day performance against Chelsea when they take on Tottenham in their first game back.
United have been without football for three months due to the coronavirus pandemic, but are set to restart their season in just under two weeks time when they travel to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The restart has been compared to the start of a new season and Solskjaer’s team will be looking to replicate both the performance and the score of their last opening day.
Goals from Anthony Martial, Daniel James, and a brace from Marcus Rashford saw United come out 4-0 winners against Chelsea back in August.
