'Madness' in Glasgow park as hordes of police swoop on boozy coronavirus revellers

Police have moved in to clear out a UK park after dozens of boozed-up punters and rowdy teenagers descended in scenes described as "madness".

Locals have expressed their anger after crowds of 'covidiots' filled Glasgow's Kelvingrove Park on the hottest day of the year.

With social distancing rules being broken on a huge scale, teams of police moved in to break up groups. Pictures showed them confiscating booze from revellers and checking people's IDs as groups mingled together.
