MADONNA was seen hobbling on crutches as she joined the Black Lives Matter protest in central London today. The pop icon, 60, moved through packed streets as she gave her support to the anti-racism movement.

She was filmed chanting "no justice, no peace" with fellow protesters during the demonstration. The Like A Prayer legend is still recovering from hip and knee injuries suffered on her Madame X tour earlier this year.

She wore large black shades and a stylish coat for the march, and was instantly recognised by fans who took selfies and hugged her.

Madonna has been using her platform to champion black rights since the killing of George Floyd by police in Minneapolis last week.
