Violent crime may be down but fraud is on the rise as scammers take advantage of the lockdown. At a time when the nation should be pulling together and helping everyone through a life-changing crisis, it's really sad to hear that fraudsters are taking advantage of the situation.

Fraud has gone through the roof and I’m being contacted almost daily with stories of scams linked to Covid-19. It’s important that these scams are exposed to reduce the number of new victims, so with this in mind here’s a round up of some the recent ones I’ve heard about.

Fake masks Rogesh from Ealing saw an advert online for ‘Covid-19 masks’. In the description it stated that the masks provided “100% protection from Covid-19” and had been “approved by the World
