Manchester United may just have received a big boost in the battle to keep Paul Pogba at Old Trafford. The midfielder has just one year remaining on his current contract, though United do have the option to extend that deal by a year.
Pogba has been linked with both a move back to Juventus and a transfer to Real Madrid amid uncertainty over whether he will sign a new deal.
However, United have been dealt two big boosts in that regard, according to reports. In Spain, La Liga president Javier Tebas has dealt a blow to the big clubs, stating that they will not be allowed to spend beyond their means, and has warned they will have to enforce wage cuts to deal with the financial consequences of the coronavirus pandemic. "We have seen the
