Paul Pogba is aiming to become the best player in the world when he returns from an ankle injury. Pogba, 27, has not started for Manchester United since their 1-1 draw with Arsenal on September 30 and he managed two substitute appearances either side of Christmas before a recurrence of an ankle problem.
Pogba underwent surgery at the start of January that sidelined him for more than two months. The France international has not played since a 45-minute outing against Newcastle on Boxing Day and United coped superbly without Pogba following the arrival of Bruno Fernandes in late January, beating Chelsea and Manchester City in an 11-match unbeaten run.
