Celtic flop Marvin Compper has defended his contribution to the club, insisting he helped out the youngsters. The German centre-back was signed for £1million by Brendan Rodgers, but played just one match.
His only appearance came in a Scottish Cup quarter-final against Morton, with the defender leaving last summer. Compper told The Herald : "I hoped to give Celtic a part of my experience to help the team grow.
Unfortunately it never quite came to that.
