Newcastle legend Warren Barton wants Mauricio Pochettino to spearhead the Toon revolution once the Saudi takeover is complete.
And Barton predicts his former club can regain its place among the Premier League alight if and when Amanda Staveley's consortium arrive at St James' Park.
Barton was a key member of Kevin Keegan's Entertainers who went so close to winning the title only to be overhauled by Manchester United in 1996.
He believes the sky is the limit for the Magpies under the new regime but feels ex-Tottenham chief Pochettino must be drafted in to lead the charge. “Pochettino has a chip on his shoulder and wants to prove a point,” said Barton, now a respected pundit in the US. “He is hungry and ambitious and can attract certain
