Miley Cyrus isn't staying quiet when it comes to the social and financial disparities made evident by the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
In a new cover story with The Wall Street Journal, Cyrus explained that although she understands the severity of the current global health crisis, she knows that her position of privilege as a celebrity isn't how the majority of the world is currently handling the pandemic. "I'm sure some people I was reaching out to [for Bright Minded] felt the same way I do, which is that my experience is so rare, it almost doesn't feel right to talk about," said the singer. "This isn't COVID-19, what I'm experiencing.
