A kind-hearted catwalk queen from Glenmavis is using her status as a Miss Great Britain Glasgow finalist to raise funds for a charity aiming to cure the rare genetic condition her young nephew suffers from.Efia Quartey has hailed her "superhero" nephew Hudson, three, of Gartcosh, and his brave battle with Angelman Syndrome, which affects only one in every 15,000-17,000 people.It is a genetic disorder that affects the nervous system and causes severe physical and intellectual disability.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
