NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said India's sole mission would be to win the war against coronavirus, but that it will be a long battle against the pandemic. "We are aware that the fight against the coronavirus pandemic will be long and we do not have time to rest or get tired.
There is only one mission before the country today, there is only one resolve and that is to win the war against coronavirus," Modi said in his address to party workers on the 40th foundation day of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Modi said sacrifice of several generations of BJP workers has helped the party get more than 300 seats in Parliament, from just two members in the Lok Sabha in 1984.
