The mayor of Mohamed Salah’s hometown has labelled claims that the Liverpool star breached social distancing guidelines as “false”.

On Friday, it was confirmed that the Egyptian had returned a second positive test for Covid-19, meaning he will now be forced to self isolate for 10 days.
