More than 1,750 people have died in Greater Manchester's hospitals from coronavirus

Eleven more people have died in hospitals in Greater Manchester with Covid-19. New NHS England figures bring the region's death toll to 1,756 as of Tuesday.

Although the figures have increased, of 11 trusts in our region, five reported no new deaths today. Across the country, 178 new deaths were recorded on Tuesday.

Bolton NHS Trust reported four deaths, bringing the total number of people who have died there to 209.
