More than 500 people with coronavirus have now died in Greater Manchester's hospitals. The latest NHS England data released on Sunday afternoon showed that 36 more Covid-19 fatalities had occurred, bringing the region's death toll to 505.

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, which has the highest number of coronavirus-related deaths in the region, announced seven more deaths today.

There were also eight more deaths at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, one at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, five more at Pennine Acute Hospitals Trust, four more at Stockport, a further six at Tameside, two at the Christie and three more at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.
