A mum broke both her ankles while attempting a viral TikTok dance challenge during the coronavirus lockdown and had to be rushed to hospital.
Sapphire Charlesworth, 27, says she was trying the “Oh Na Na Na” challenge with her girlfriend Naadjele Lartey on Wednesday when disaster struck.
The challenge involves two people tapping their feet together from different angles to the tune of Slim Burna’s hit and is now a viral craze on video-sharing site Tik Tok.
Sapphire was giving the routine a go at her home in Chester-le-Street, County Durham on Wednesday, when she suddenly toppled and heard “crack, crack”.
