A family -of-six have been forced into all living in one room after becoming homeless during the UK's coronavirus lockdown.
Julie-Ann Whittaker, 38, and her children have spent six weeks sleeping on blow-up beds in a spare room after seeking refuge at a friend’s high-rise flat in Glasgow, Daily Record reports.
Julie, who lives with Chloe, 20, 14-year-old Junior, Jodie-Jo, 13, Lacey, seven, and five-year-old William, said: “It’s absolute mental torture trying to have six people staying in the one room 24 hours a day. “We were in a temporary two-bedroom furnished flat in Castlemilk but after six months of absolute hell with the neighbours, I decided to leave for the safety of the kids. “I had to go and stay at a friend’s house.
