A heartbroken mum is calling for increased support for mental health sufferers after her daughter was found dead during coronavirus lockdown.
Tributes for Miriam Singh Choudry, 25, have poured in since her body was discovered in a flat on May 2nd. Her grieving mum Kim told East Killbride News the whole family has been left shattered by Miriam’s death.
Police have ruled the death as not suspicious and Kim revealed she had suffered with body dysmorphia, anxiety and depression throughout her life.
According to Kim, mum-of-two Miriam struggled with dyslexia as a child and spent most of her adult life battling with her mental health – from body dysmorphia to anxiety and depression.
