A single mum was told she had to leave her seven-year-old son at the entrance to a Morrisons supermarket due to 'coronavirus rules' as she tried to buy him lunch.
Alexa Bowyer, 39, said that a "bullish" security guard insisted that she leave her boy Ted at the entrance as it was store policy as part of the wider coronavirus measures.
She said that she eventually left the store without her food and with her son in tears, having been made to feel "like a criminal" despite trying to reason with the security guard and his colleague.
She later spoke to the manager of the store who confirmed that this was not part of Morrisons policy, reports Yorkshire Live.
