Two teenage boys were thrown to the ground by two robbers who made off with their bikes in a park, says a terrified mother. The two teenagers were cycling through Leverhulme Park in Bolton on Sunday evening when they were approached by two men, believed to be in their early 20s.

The men asked the boys if they knew anyone in the area that could supply the men with cannabis. When the boys said that they did not smoke, the men attacked them, according to the mother of one of the boys.

One boy was grabbed by his neck as the men threw the pair off their bikes and to the ground, said the heartbroken mum who wished not to be named.
