A mum-of-six whose husband is still in an induced coma in hospital after contracting coronavirus has thanked wonderful hospital staff for "bringing him back from the brink" of death.
Sarah Allcock, 46, was the first of her household to be struck down by the virus on February 9, before it spread on to husband Brian and three of her children aged 15, 16 and 22.
But she never thought her husband, 53 and her daughter Megan, who is only 22 and has no underlying health condition, would end up in hospital because of it, reports Yorkshire Live.
The two were admitted to Chesterfield Royal and while Megan was discharged a few days later, Brian's condition kept deteriorating to the point where Sarah was warned by staff that he wouldn't make it.
