A poster on parenting forum, Mumsnet, has shared her horror after being “named and shamed” on a neighbourhood WhatsApp group.
Her crime? Not standing outside to cheer on the NHS workers during the Clap for Carers initiative at 8pm on Thursday evening.
The clapping, which has happened two weeks in a row, calls for Brits to clap in appreciation of the NHS workers battling it out against the coronavirus pandemic.
Some people have been banging pots and pans and setting off fireworks to say thanks. In a worried post in the AIBU – Am I Being Unreasonable – section of the website, she regaled fellow posters with her shock at what happened.
