Newcastle and Wolves are both interested in signing Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain this summer, according to reports. The Italian champions are keen to get rid of the 32-year-old after failing to impress on his return to Turin after loan spells away.
Playing second fiddle to Cristiano Ronaldo this campaign, Higuain scored eight times in 33 games before the coronavirus outbreak.
The Argentine ace was snapped up on loan by Chelsea last season but his return of just five goals in 19 games was not enough to secure a permanent deal.
Old Lady boss Maurizio Sarri and Higuain have been successful together previously after the striker shone at Napoli before moving to Juventus.
