Saudi Arabia will reportedly look to compete for Premier League TV rights should the takeover of Newcastle United be finalised, ending the issue of privacy in the country.
The Magpies are subject to a £300million bid which is being funded by Saudi's Public Investment Fund, controlled by Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman.
The Premier League is currently in the process of conducting due diligence over the bid and it is thought that the deal could be completed in the coming days.
Opponents to the deal have vented their views, including Qatar-based beIN Sports, who are current rights holders to broadcasting Premier League football for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
