NHS doctor attacked on way home from work as cops release CCTV

Detectives are trying to trace a man in connection with an attack on an NHS doctor who was set upon after being followed home from work during the coronavirus lockdown.

The 37-year-old medic, who has not been named, was tailed on a train after finishing her shift.Despite social distancing measures in place to stop the spread of the deadly virus, the man then attacked her, as she was on the phone to police.She was taken to hospital to be treated for mouth injuries from the assault, which also left her with a broken tooth.And detectives have now released CCTV footage of a man they want to trace in connection with the incident.The attacker followed her since after she boarded a train at the Shadwell Docklands Light Railway (DLR) station in
