Ten hardworking NHS workers battling the coronavirus in Wales have been handed the wrong results after being tested for the virus.
Eight of the tests in the blunder belonged to healthcare staff from the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board area, the worst hit area in the country, and two others from elsewhere in Wales.
All of the workers affected were told they were negative for the deadly virus, when in fact they were told the results of someone else's test.
It is not yet known of these how many, if any. did in fact test positive. It is believed 10 samples from 96 were involved in the mixup, Walesonline report.
