NICK Grimshaw has been on holiday for the last three weeks but don’t expect to hear him back on Radio 1 any time soon – he’s now facing a fortnight stuck at home.
The popular drivetime DJ was due to return to the studio on Monday after taking annual leave but has now been put into 14 days’ quarantine after boyfriend Meshach Henry, who he lives with, came into contact with someone who had coronavirus. ⚠️ Read our coronavirus live blog for the latest news & updates It means they are now being forced to stay inside his home in East London and potentially be off air for another fortnight.
He has been replaced by Dev Griffin on air this week, although bosses are scrambling to work out a way to get him back on air next week from his home..
