For the third consecutive day, we are reporting no new cases of COVID-19. This means New Zealand’s combined total of confirmed and probable cases remains at 1,497, of which 1,147 are confirmed.

We now have 1,411 people reported as having recovered from COVID-19, an increase of 9 on yesterday. This is 94% of all confirmed and probable cases.

Today there are two people receiving hospital level care for COVID-19 – one each in Auckland and Middlemore hospitals. Neither are in ICU.

We still have 16 significant clusters. There are no additional deaths to report. Yesterday our laboratories processed 6,568 tests, bringing the total number of tests completed to date to 209,613.

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia released proposed regulations for city streeteries last month and some in the industry feel they will be nearly impossible to comply with."They didn’t save our life but they kept us alive," said Mark Grika, pointing to six enclosed structures for private outdoor dining at his East Passyunk Ave restaurant, Flannel.Under the new rules passed by Philadelphia City Council in December, approximately 70 percent of the existing streeteries can stay open, according to the Pennsylvania Restaurant and Lodging Association. KYIV, Ukraine - A German interpreter responsible for translating Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s speech on live TV Saturday evening was so moved by its contents that she abruptly stopped before she broke down into tears, she said.Translating for the German news service Welt, the translator could be heard getting choked up towards the end of Zelenskyy’s speech, before she apologized, a video online showed."Russia is on the path of evil. Documents: Pennsylvania man hid in NH woman's attic, took photos of her sleeping

SOMERSWORTH, N.H. - A Pennsylvania man who traveled to New Hampshire to meet a woman he met online hid in her attic, photographed her while sleeping, stole some of her underwear, and attempted to place a tracking device on her car, prosecutors said.Court documents made public Monday revealed details of charges against the man who was arrested after police found him on the roof of the woman's home earlier this month.The documents indicate the man met the victim on the paid subscription website OnlyFans and drove about 350 miles (560 kilometers) to the woman's home.Somersworth police said the man broke into the woman's home, stole her house key and had a duplicate key made. He came and went from the home several times, once photographing the woman while asleep, and spent time in the attic where police found personal items including a tracking device he intended to place in the woman's vehicle, police said.He's charged with four counts of burglary.
