A frontline student nurse helping with the coronavirus battle walked home in tears after her bike was stolen outside the hospital.
Lily Richardson, 21, had just finished a gruelling 13-hour shift at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary when she noticed her £600 bicycle, which she only had for three days, was gone.
She was told by a security guard that her bike had been stolen, meaning she has had to walk to and from work ever since. Lily, who lives in Boldon, is now appealing for help in tracing her bright orange Cube bicycle.
