Outlander fans are counting down the days until season seven, part two. The current ‘Droughtlander’ has been easier to stomach than some have been as only half of the episodes have been screened so far due to an extra lengthy series on the back of the Covid pandemic.

But with no official air date announced just yet, hints have been dropped about what could be in store for the likes of Jamie and Claire Fraser, played by Sam Heughan and Caitríona Balfe.

Actress Caitriona has even teased herself that some challenging times lie in store in the next part of season seven, which is expected to be broadcast before spring.

As writes the Express, she previously stated that episode 11 in particular was tough for her to film as she said: “I'm going to be a bit vague because it's stuff I can't really, really talk about but I think it's episode 11.”The next part of the series is promising darker twists and unexpected returns of some familiar faces, as well as new cast members and more of the drama fans are used to.
