Over 1,000 cases of coronavirus in Lanarkshire as death tolls continues to rise

The Scottish Government today said that 1051 people have now tested positive for coronavirus in Lanarkshire.That is a rise of 29 from yesterday’s figure of 1022.It comes as 915 patients across Scotland who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died.And 24 people in Lanarkshire were in intensive care at midnight, with confirmed or suspected coronavirus.The Scottish test numbers for April 20 show a total of 40,700 people have been tested across the country.Of these:■ 32,250 tests were confirmed negative■ 8,450 tests were positive■ 915 patients who tested positive have died■ 169 patients were in intensive care last night, with 167 of those having tested positive■ There were  people in Scottish hospitals with either confirmed or
