COLOMBO (News 1st) – The Ministry of Justice says more than 7000 Sri Lankan families who fled the country as refugees, and returned from India have resettled in the Northern Province.According to the Justice Ministry, there are around 12,500 such Sri Lankans who returned back to the country.The Justice Ministry has launched a mobile programme to resolve the legal issues faced by these people in terms of re-obtaining Sri Lankan citizenship.
