Paramedics fighting coronavirus have holes drilled into ambulance tyres by vandals

There have been heartwarming stories of people pulling together in this unprecedented time of crisis – but there are still some who fail to understand the seriousness of the coronavirus outbreak.

Horrified NHS heroes arriving at a Kent ambulance station for an early shift on Sunday morning found that six ambulances had been immobilised by vandals who had drilled holes in their tyres.

One of the paramedics posted photos of the vandalised ambulances.
