 Paul O’Grady has adopted the cutest puppy ever after his beloved dog Boycie’s death. The 64-year-old comedian and animal lover was left heartbroken when his Shih Tzu – who suffered seizures due to epilepsy – passed away on Tuesday.

And the TV star revealed he has now taken in a new pooch – the adorable Nancy. He shared a snap of Nancy, who he adopted from Battersea Dogs And Cats Home, lounging on a comfy blanket on his new Instagram page.

Paul captioned it: ‘Just thought I’d let you all know at Battersea how Nancy is doing. ‘She’s twice her size, extremely confident, loves her grub and when she’s not terrorising Arfur( who’s mad on her) she likes to pose for glamour shots on her faux fur rug.’ He TV star signed off: ‘Keep well and see
