The rise in cases is attributed to 511 additional new positive cases and 75 new deaths. With the rate of increase slowing, Gov.

Tom Wolf has begun relaxing restrictions and business closure guidelines in more than half of the state’s 67 counties home to one-third of its residents.

The governor says he anticipates all counties will advance in the state's reopening plan by Jun. 5. Sixteen counties in the central and western parts of Pennsylvania will move into the green phase.
