Pensioner, 70, lives 'on Dominos pizza, cookies and Coke' in coronavirus lockdown

A pensioner who lives alone was forced to live on Dominos pizza, cookies and Coke Zero for a month while self-isolating. Since his wife died in 2014, David Hoggett, 70, who suffers from arthritis, has been living alone and has no family or friends nearby.

He was scared to leave the house due to the coronavirus outbreak but when Dominos stopped taking orders over the telephone the self-confessed technological "dinosaur" decided to leave the house to head to the local supermarket.

As the frail pensioner was being helped across the road by some kindly strangers, police patrolling the area felts urged to speak to him, SurreyLive reports.
