People say they are being 'forced to move out' of their homes in Salford Quays as chaos has descended on the area during the recent bout of hot weather.
Residents claim they are 'living in fear' as the quayside has become a hot spot for large gatherings, despite coronavirus lockdown measures and social distancing rules still being in force.
Police have been called to the quays on multiple occasions over the last month including on May 27, when officers rushed to reports of 'up to 100 people' on the Detroit Bridge.
But residents say the police and council need to do more, adding that huge congregations of people - particularly youths - are drinking, littering and jumping in the Manchester Ship Canal on a daily basis.
