Perth and Kinross Council has urged residents to “play their part” in helping the area exit level three coronavirus restrictions.

Perth and Kinross continues under Strategic Framework Level three until at least next week, following First Minister Nicola Sturgeon’s announcement on Tuesday.

Cat lovers urged to help out at protection charityThe restrictions include prohibiting the sale of alcohol in cafes, bars or restaurants while people can now only meet outdoors in groups of six from a maximum of two households.

PKC chief executive Karen Reid said: “ Perth and Kinross was moved to protection level three last week after we continued to see a rise in cases of COVID across Perth and Kinross and the wider Tayside area.
