Phil Spector dead: Music producer behind The Wall Of Sound dies from Covid aged 81

Phil Spector has died at the age of 81 of coronavirus. Spector was a music producer that was known for creating The Wall Of Sound, which was used by 60s bands like The Ronettes and The Crystals.

In 2009 he was sent to prison for the 2003 murder of Lana Clarkson and was sentenced to 19 years. He had caught coronavirus in prison four weeks ago and died after being transferred to hospital this week, according to TMZ.

The site reports that Spector was diagnosed with Covid four weeks ago and went to the hospital but recovered well enough to return to prison.
