Picnics and countryside drives could be permitted if lockdown rules are relaxed later this month, according to reports. Restrictions on outdoor activities are among the first which could be lifted as the UK passes its peak number of coronavirus cases, according to the Mail on Sunday.

The new rules would allow people to exercise more than once a day and to visit the countryside for picnics or walks. Brits would still only be allowed to socialise with members of their household and be asked to keep at least two metres away from other people.
