Singer Pink is recovering after testing positive for COVID-19 and is donating a million dollars to emergency funds. The Walk Me Home hitmaker and her three-year-old son Jameson were showing symptoms of the coronavirus and she tested positive.
Addressing her followers on social media Pink says they have since been re-tested and are 'thankfully negative.' The 40-year-old, who was born Alecia Beth Moore, had some stern words for the US government, saying 'it is an absolute travesty and failure' to not make testing more widely accessible.
And she said she would be donating 500,000 dollars (£407,000) to both the Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund in Philadelphia and the City of Los Angeles Mayor's Emergency COVID-19 crisis fund.
