Bolton was shut down last night (December 26) after police said it was 'blatantly' in breach of Covid-19 restrictions. Officers arrived at the meet and saw vehicle owners were mingling - none of them were wearing masks, they say.The car meet happened at the Friday Street Car Park in Chorley.Fines, in the form of Fixed Penalty Notices, were not issued on this occasion but those who attended were warned they would be fined in future if they returned.A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: "We have just attended Friday Street Car Park where there has been a car meet of approximately 30 cars."Occupants of the vehicles were mingling with each other.
